Things to keep in mind during your credit repair process!!!
1. No new debt, you do not want to inquire any new debt during this process as it will only make paying your current debt off even more difficult.
2. Having to many inquiries on your credit report can lower your score, so during this process don’t apply for any credit or allow anyone to run your credit other than you.
3. Never pay your collectors with cash use another accepted from of payment such as a money order, cashier check, or personal check so that you will always have at least one receipt showing proof of payment.
4. Keep records of all of your payments with receipts so that you have proof of them.
5. If they say that they won’t accept the amount that you can afford to pay them send what you can anyway. They won’t send it back and if they do contact an attorney.
6. Make sure that you make your payments.
7. If you have extra money one month pay extra on something, this will only get you there faster.
